David Gans Says "Dark Star in the First Set" Is Not A Bad Thing", August 16, 1991

Just read a funny @DavidGans tweet and it reminded me of this great unusual show.  In 1991, when Evan Moore's Dad sat in row two, the Dead pull out Dark Star>The Promise Land to end set one.  Last set one Dark Star, November 15, 1971 in Austin with Dark Star (1) [12:14] > El Paso [4:38] > Space [3:29] > Jam [3:59] according to deadlists.com
