RIP Walter Becker

I always liked Steely Dan records, as far back as the Dead.  They rarely played live, but I like this little set from March 1974 in Los Angeles.  Give it a listen here

If memory serves, at one of the Academy of Music shows from immediately before Europe 72, someone in the crowd shouts out Steely Dan, and I think Bob responds questioningly. Maybe 3/26? I'd have to relisten.

On the (last?) Steely Dan tour in 2017, the cover song performed was the Dead's "Shakedown Street". (On the 2016 tour, the cover song was Joe Tex's "I Want To (Do Everything For You)".)
