80 Shows, 60 Years, 1959-2019

My first set two June 9, 1976.

So I turn 60 on January 18.

From 1959-1974, I was a kid.

From 1975-1989, I saw 80 Grateful Dead shows for almost exactly one million grateful seconds.

From 1990-2004, I been balling a shiny black steel jack-hammer and been chippin' up rocks for the great highway

From 2005-2019, I rediscovered the Grateful Dead and listened  to them 20 million grateful seconds
and wrote 424 blog posts here

Thanks for reading my fan site, it's my pleasure to write it. And so fun.

Congrats on 60! Did you go to Bowdoin? Looks like the Bowdoin Art Museum in one of those pics. Graduated from there in 1994. Made a few excursions to shows from there including Boston Garden '91 (Dick's 17) and JGB Portland in 1993. Also that Vermont show you wrote about was walking distance from my girlfriend's grandfather's house so that was pretty cool although the show was easily the worst I ever saw. Enjoy the blog. Cheers!

Bowdoin 1981. If you read my posts from 1977 to 1980, you can see many of my Bowdoin centric posts, especially Lewiston http://www.gratefulseconds.com/2016/03/lewiston.html
