Four Hours with the Dead: Chicago 1971-73

The Grateful Dead always got a great reaction in the Second City.  Chicago was not only the recent site of Fare Thee Well and the last two Grateful Dead shows in 1995, but also a fun town where the boys would return and return and return (note the three separate three nights stands scheduled for 1978, although only 8 shows were played due to Godchaux issues)

This version of my fan blog highlights some articles ion the Chicago Tribune in the early 1970's, mainly 1971 and 1973 as the gang. Your usual treats are here. I recommend the rare  Dark Star>Sitting On Top of the World>Dark Star>Me & Bobby McGee 26:26 section above.
